Adding Request: Requirements

Since beats are emailed directly to artists, it would be good for them to be able to purchase them then and there?

Developers API
This would allow artists to be able to have people submit direct to their request from their own websites and other websites to curate our data.

Directory
With over 500 artists/placement opportunities already it may be beneficial to have a directory with filters such as famous/verified twitter account, self managed page etc.

View Own Profile

Producers: Rate Artists
When producers send beats to artists, follow up with them asking if they have heard from the artist.
In addition to that, let the producer say whether the artist has bought beats from them, then we can build up a list of verified beat buyers.

Profile Customisation
"I think you should have the profiles setup for a little customization. Not
necessarily for some kind of Myspace look, but for an icon photo and
information about the artist/producer with links to their work. I'd like to
know if an artist is horrible before I bother sending my beats to him/her
and I'm sure other serious producers would feel the same. I could just
google their name, but that's added work on my part. The site should make

Let producers choose whether beats can be downloaded and streamed or just streamed, etc. Permissions like that.

Producers: Merge Beats
Producers are allowed to upload the same beat more than once, this is intentional. But at some point they may want to remove their duplicate beats, if they do this it will remove artists access to beats. If a merge function was available, artists would continue to have access to the beats provided the producer merged them first.
This would be for merging the same beats into one, so effectively removing the multiple entries from the database without removing artists access. We wouldn't be deleting any files as even if beats are uploaded more than once, only one copy of…

Producers: View Beats Sent Issue
"hey there, one thing is when you go to beat request page and you click
"view beats sent" etc./ then you click the back button, it goes back to
the very top of the list. Very irritating if you scrolled down several
times. Say I wanted to see what beats i've sent an artist so I can send
him
new ones. So I go to view beats sent/ I hit the "back button" and I'm
back at the top of the page. It should be right back to the same place
I was at."

Import Beats from Non Registered Users to Registered Users
If someone has been uploading beats before becoming a member we should assign them to their account so they aren't uploading duplicate files. This can be done by searching filename for the users email address.
