How can we improve SendBeatsTo?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Producers: Phone, Email Fields

    Make the email field required so artists have at least some way of contacting producers if they fail to follow the advice given on the upload pages.

    This is now complete for Guests. Members email addresses are included and have always been included in emails sent to artists.

    Member producers now have the option to personalize the email before it is sent to artists, so they can include contact information in there if they wish.

  2. Producer: Customize Email

    • Allow producers to customize the emails sent to artists.
    • Remove all the default SendBeatsTo stuff apart from opt out details.

  4. an optional multi-upload button on submit pages :)

    Hi Iain,
    I absolutely love how your site works.
    Also I think a create your own password would be good but its not essential , in some ways I feel its more secure the way you have it.

  6. Immeadiate play/preview option

    To be able to play our tracks whenever we can see them on list, i.e. "Your Latest Uploads" section or the "Beats" section. Currently we have to click on the song, and go to the "preview" tab in order to listen to it. If there was a drop-down menu when we put the mouse over the track (showing the player you have in the "preview" section) we can have a a 3-4 clicks action into a single click action.

    UPDATE OCTOBER 2016:
    You can preview beats immediately on the new backend which will be out soon.

    Thanks for the suggestion. In the artists pages they can preview inline so should be able to add it for producers easily too.

    When setting a background, even after choosing a picture and hitting
    save it still outputs "No file chosen". Also remains that after being set
    and appearing on profile pages. Maybe a Twitter-like thumbnail of the
    uploaded background?
